A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ALLOCATING THE SUM OF
FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1 ,500.00) FROM
COUNCILWOMAN WILSON'S SPECIAL EVENTS ACCOUNT
TO PURCHASE COVID 19 TOOL KITS; PROVIDING FOR THE
ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Katrina Wilson has purchased Covidl9 tool kits for
the Constituents of Seat 4 of the City of Miami Gardens, and
WHEREAS, the Covid 19 tool kits will help protect the safety of residents during
the Pandemic of the Covid 19 virus, and
WHEREAS, funding for these items will be supported by the Special Events
Account for Seat 4, and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Wilson is requesting Fifteen Hundred Dollars
($1,500) from the Special Events Account for Seat 4 to purchase Covidl9 tool kits for
Seat 4 residents of the City of Miami Gardens , and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Wilson recommends that the City Council approves
this resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the allocation of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) from
Councilwoman Wilson's Special Events Account, to purchase Covid 19 tool kits for
Constituents of Seat 4
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2020.
